This IPS is primarily aimed at the Mechatronics and Embedded Systems engineering degree. The students can also pursue other engineering degrees or master’s degrees in Energy, Industrial, Nuclear or Mechanical specializing in modelling and digital simulation degrees.
After five years of study, the students can pursue careers as scientific engineers in energy, industrial, nuclear or mechatronics and embedded systems sectors.

The IPS allows you to switch to bachelor’s degree within the Health Sciences bachelors. This IPS is primarily aimed at the Agri-Food engineering degree. The students can also pursue other engineering degrees or master’s degrees in biology.
After five years of study, the students can pursue careers in the agri-food sector, particularly in management positions such as research and development, production, quality, health, safety and environment, agri-food process engineers. They could also pursue as project or sector management. The agri-food sector is very broad and offers a variety of opportunities depending on the sector (meat, dairy, aquatic, plant, health, animal feed products…) and the services (quality, production, research and development, sales/purchasing, distribution, logistic, auditing etc.)

STUDENT SERVICES

UNICAEN and in particular its "Carré international" assists students to receive all the necessary information about their arrival, including details on accommodation (priority access to dorms at the CROUS, other choices possible such as staying with a host family or list of private residences) and transportation from Paris airport to Caen.

The Carré international organizes welcome and orientation days at the beginning of each semester to help students integrate into the university environment and daily life (university and city tours, information sessions, activities, etc.)

The students can benefit from a dedicated administrative staff for registration and general student support, a teaching team ready to listen and support and an International Student Support team to answer day-to-day questions (administrative procedures, enrolment once the international class is over, etc.)

Fee-paying excursions will also be available all year round with ESN (Erasmus student association https://www.instagram.com/esncaen/), as well as buddy programs.
